FIRING FEES:
There are two electric kilns available,
each approximately 7 cu. ft. (either the bisque kiln or the high-fire
glaze kiln). Members can fire them on their own (at a reduced rate) or
they can be fired by The Fire Works.
There are regular cone-10 firings in the gas kiln
in either reduction or soda atmosphere. If members want to put work in
shared firings they can rent shelves. These firings will be done by The
Fire Works, from loading to clean up. Each shelf is 14x28”, different
prices apply for reduction or soda firing and there is a per piece
surcharge for taller work.
If qualified, members can rent the entire kiln and
fire on their own. |
